15" Althea Leistikow Imported Mohair Teddy Bear Artist Signed Tag "Lady #11"

Description

All bears listed are from a bear collector and have all been keep in a smoke-free/pet-free home.  They have never been played with; only displayed.  If there is a flaw on the bear it will be described in details.  All tags have been removed from the bears.  I will describe the tag in detail as some have been taped to paper or glued on cardstock/printer paper.

Condition of Tag:  Paper tag is in good condition.   Front side of tag is pre-printed and provided artist information.  Back side of tag is completely hand-written in black cursive and gives details of bear.

A classic 15" teddy designed and handmade by artist of imported mohair, ultra suede, antique shoe button eyes-not for children.  Dress and hat, boa of hand dyed-designed and made by artist, antique lace.
Condition of Bear:  This very pretty bear is dressed in such a beautiful Victorian style.  Per artist tag, she stands 15" tall and she is on a doll stand.  Her dress and hat appear to be in very good condition but her boa is loosing feathers due to age.  It will be removed from bear and will be shipped in a zip-lock bag.  I do see a pin-prick on her right paw and I have attached a picture of this for one to view.  I do not see any other stains/tears on her and she does not have an odor.  She does have an attached leather tag that features the artist signature but it has faded over time (see attached picture).
Will be shipped on doll stand and delivery will be through USPS with full insurance.
***The utmost care will be taken in the shipping of this bear to protect her hat.  It is removable and held on with a hat pin, so if the purchaser would like me to remove it, I definitely can do so for shipping purposes.  Just let me know if you would like me to remove it or not.  Please note that that it is two pieces and also held together by the hat pin.  Hat pin will be in place and wrapped in foil and entire hat placed in a clean plastic zip-lock bag.***
