This one is a REAL Survivor!!  Why buy a motorcycle just to get it home and begin repairs?  This one is ready to ride today !! I am the second owner.  I purchased it used from a car dealer in Atlanta. I was visiting the showroom with a friend and there it sat with 1,800 miles on it taken as a trade-in (probably for a 260Z).  I had no intention of buying a motorcycle that day but could not keep my eyes off of it. It was originally titled in Fla and I still have the business card of that dealer which came with the paperwork (see pics)
Comes with original factory or dealer installed engine guard and passenger "sissy bar".  I will kick in two helmets. One is period correct and is well worn inside. (my JVC cassette player with signal splitter headphones for passenger were great).  Drive train has never been worked on or disassembled/opened.  I did replace the stator.  Stator was probably abused from using a battery with less than a 12 volt charge.  Inside of gas tank was cleaned and kreamed properly by allowing plenty of time to dry before refueling.  I replaced the front brake reservoir and rebuilt that master cylinder.  Could possibly be due for valve spec check. If out of tolerance, the dual overhead valves can be shimmed, with slide in shims by you once you order the needed sizes of shims. Doubt if it needs it though.  All light bulbs are original. Always have replaced oil routinely with valvoline motorcycle oil 10/40- good for the wet clutch which is in good shape by the way.
This machine starts instantly and accelerates and runs very smoothly There is some light rust mostly on bottom.  Patina includes:  two very small tank dents, right footpeg could use a little straightening, tank paint and decal damage from gas  filling runovers. I did do a cheap and amateurish replacement of the upper gold striping on both sides of tank. Looks ok but I went ahead and purchased the correct suzuki paint stripes today for you to install just in case you decide to paint the tank and win a show.  Stripe kit will be delivered with bike.   I have never been sorry I bought this one and have mixed emotions about parting with it but I am 71 now and it's time for someone else to enjoy this machines dependability and durability.   Also Included for the high bidder:
*original mirrors
*one minute very quick change windshield
* two helmets, one is a nice HJC (maroon with a chip of paint missing in back) it has a shield and slide sunshade
*oil filter, gasket
*two original keys with original fob from dealer
* rear tire and battery were replaced in December and are in great shape!!
Oh yeah, as I said, runs smooth. I used to rebuild carbs and sell them on ebay. You can read my feedback. The factory synch/ balance settings have never been changed. but off course thorough cleaning was performed with floats set to spec.( .87 inches as I recall?)
Looks like ebay recommends u-ship

My tag office in Barrow County Georgia tells me that when my motorcycle was registered here, it did not need to be titled because it's model year is between 1963 and 1985
.  I purchased it with just a Bill of Sale from Hickman Datsun in Chamblee, Georgia in 1981
and will sell the same way.
