    Description

    Canadian Tire Money (CTM)
from the Canadian Tire Company Limited
    Two (2) Pieces
    1 x 5 cents and 1 x 25 cents
    ~ mid-1980s
The 25 cent note, Serial # V4596557, was printed by the British American Bank Note Company Limited. It is signed by J. Sasahi, Treasurer and A. Billes, President. I believe that "A. Billes" is Alfred J. Billes (1902-1995) who, with his brother, founded CTCL in the early 1900s. This note has one curled but not creased corner.
The 5 cent note, Serial # S6466010, was printed by the British American Bank Note Inc., Ottawa, Canada. It is signed by Douglas Hauman, Treasurer and Dean Graussman, President. This note is crisp and clean.
I was gifted these notes in the mid-1980s by a Canadian co-worker who came to the US in the mid-1980s.
Domestic US Shipping by US First Class Mail is included in the price as "Free Shipping."
