This book gives tips on using your Nimslo 3D camera to shoot the originally intended lenticular 3D prints, but goes beyond that to explain in simple terms how to use it for other 3D formats. Topics covered include 3-D slide making, making classic 3D stereoviews, shooting Nimslo close-ups, using alternate film speeds, Nimslo camera modifications, and non 3D uses [what?!] for the Nimslo. Taking and mounting techniques are both covered. Technical information and drawings are also included.
Did you know that Jerry Nims and Allen Lo are the inventors of the NIMSLO camera system? Now you know where the name Nimslo comes from!
Illustrated with several B&W stereo prints (all taken with Nimslo Cameras)
Of particular interest are the modifications, from simple things, like putting a pair of reading glasses, a great & inexpensive way to take close ups, to more involved modifications like the two lens BURDLO camera, made by David Burder.
All the original instructions are included, plus 32 pages of Technical Information from the NIMSLO Service Department, showing "exploding" parts diagrams for this camera. Very useful for those who would like to experiment with these cameras as they can found inexpensively in ebay these days.
