May Whitty,
The Bag Lady Bear, designed and handcrafted by Joanne Mitchell of Family Tree Bears in Texas.  This bear is 19" tall, fully jointed, firmly stuffed, and made of synthetic fur. She has orange plastic eyes with black pupils, brown suede nose, stitched mouth, suede paw pads, and shaved extended muzzle.
She comes dressed in her original clothing which includes a floral print dress, white tights, orange socks with "fur" trim, and fuzzy bunny slippers.  She also has her beige coat with many pins and accessories attached as well as a bird sitting on her shoulder.  On her head she wears a vintage black hat with flower accents, on her face a pair of wire rimmed eyegasses, and around her neck a purple plastic bead necklace, a rabbit's foot, and a silver whistle.  In her paw, she carries her brown paper shopping bag filled with her "treasures".  On the front of the bag is says:

She is in excellent all original condition and comes with her original artist hang tag. On the front of the tag is the name of the bear, May Whitty.  On the back is a story about her with the artist's signature at the bottom and the year 1988.
