Mini Hand Sewn 2in. Pastel Rainbow Sparse ALPACA Teddy Bear by Lori Wright

This is a 2 inch miniature teddy bear made from a beautiful 1/8in sparse pile of hand-dyed pastel multi-colored ALPACA (rainbow). Alpaca has a coarser texture and a slightly different appearance than mohair. The base color of the mohair was ecru. This bear was designed and completely handsewn by me, Lori Wright. He has light pink ultra suede paw pads. He has small black matte seed bead eyes. His nose and mouth were embroidered with dark brown cotton thread. He has a cotter pin joint in his neck and head, and is string-jointed in his arms and legs. This bear has been stuffed with polyester, and handsewn with nylon "invisible" thread, which is ideal for hiding stitches. The fur around his muzzle has been shaved so you can see his facial features better. I have added a lavender 4mm silk ribbon to his neck.
