    Check out this NEW OLD STOCK (NOS) Spare Spool for the famous
    Cortland
    fly reel, which is marked as, "
    Size Large. Made in England.
    " The inner side plate of this spool is
    3-1/8" in diameter

    he outer side plate of this reel is approximately

    in diameter
    .
    The two side plates of the spool are
    7/8" apart.
    (I think reel experts describe this as having "One inch pillars," but I'm just guessing at that, based on what I read online).
    NOTE:
    This Spare Spool was in a box with no part number...only the description as, "Size Large."  So
    make your own decision whether this is the right Spare Spool for your Cortland reel, please.
    The box edges are worn, but this spare spool is in beautiful condition. Please see photos, and decide about condition for yourself.
