This Teddy Bear purse is a SPECIALTY ITEM. This purse has an antique metal frame which was purchased years ago at an antique doll show. The frame is 1-1/2in. wide. The bear purse measures 3-1/4in. from the top of the frame to the bottom of his feet. This bear was designed especially for this frame. The bear fabric is a peach/light orange upholstery plush. The paw pads at the bottom of the bears feet are made of camel-colored ultra suede. The purse lining is made from pastel peach ultra suede. Everything on this bear is hand sewn. The head and arms are jointed, and the legs are sewn into the bottom seam of the body of the bear purse. The eyes of the bear are made from Japanese black seed beads. His nose and mouth have been embroidered with dark brown cotton thread. His head, arms, and legs have been stuffed with polyester. The body of the bear has not been stuffed to allow room for whatever you choose to put in the purse. I have used gold-tone beads to secure the frame to the bear fabric. This bear has been sewn with nylon invisible thread. I have added a light beige/tan nylon ribbon to the neck of the bear. This is a one-of-a-kind.
