Vintage abstract gorgeous mid century bakelite large 'basket weave' button!

Lots of great antiques and vintage textiles, photos, jewelry, paper and more being listed this weekend from a fine antique estate I acquired recently!
Here is one of many fabulous vintage sewing buttons I'm offering this weekend! First off, I'm not an expert by any means, so I'll describe them as best I can and you be sure to ask any questions if you need to. Also, many of these amazing buttons were on display and the previous owner used bits of velcro to mount them. I've carefully removed the velcro, but some still have wee bits of sticky residue on the back. It will come off by rubbing or probably a bit of soapy water.
So amazing! This button is something of an optical illusion with it's different sides and textures! Measures 1 3/4" wide.  In excellent condition!  SO much finer than shown on this overcast day!
