Vintage Italian coffee maker from the 1950s ? Caffexpress Stovetop Aluminum

Unusual Italian espresso pot in vintage used condition. It is a strange one piece design in that the pot it one solid piece of aluminum and you screw off and unhinge the top to add water and coffee, screw it back down and put it on the stove.
There is no gasket. Not sure if needs one to work
As can be seen from the photos lots of marks and oxidization and dings on the exterior and interior water basket. I’m sure it could be used but who wants to drink espresso made in aluminum? More of a display piece to add to your collection.
