This camera is in superb condition cosmetically. It's a great display piece. I did attempt to test it as follows.Focus is adjusted by turning the focusing ring on either lens - the lenses are geared together. To see whether the shutters worked I had to insert a film - it seems the shutters are primed when you advance the film. After doing this I pressed the shutter release. A shutter in front of the aperture leaves on each lens opened very slowly but smoothly, and then closed rapidly. This seems to me to result in a very long exposure, so I'm guessing that the camera needs maintenance if you intend to use it. A sticker inside says that it was serviced by Kodak in 1960, so I would think it is overdue! Nevertheless it's a fine looking object if you just want to display it.
Sold as-is without any guarantees or warranties and with no returns. We are not equipped to test or service cameras, and sell vintage cameras as collectible items for display only.
