Vintage Montague Pennell Fly Fishing Reel. 2 1/4".
Up for sale is a Montague-built Pennell fly reel. This reel shows wear; however, it does still work, and it would be a nice addition to add to your Pennell reel collection. Aside from the wear on the finish, I do need to mention that the handle knob post has a bend and the handle crank has some play. Also, the exposed rim has a small nick. The clicker still sounds nice on this reel. This reel has a diameter of 2 1/4". Overall, this might not be the cleanest example of this reel; however, you don't see these Pennell marked fly reels everyday, so don't miss out! in the box. All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC pipe.
I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
• International shipping is done through the Global Shipping Program.
