Vintage Pflueger Hawkeye 60-Yard Fly Fishing Reel.
Up for sale is a "freshly unearthed" Pflueger Hawkeye fly reel. I am selling this reel exactly how I found it and I will give the new owner the liberty of cleaning it (I only removed the line). With that being said, this reel is structurally sound, and it works nicely. The only thing I need to mention is the handle knob post is a tad loose and it has an unfortunate wiggle (it is still mounted on the handle, but re-mounting it would improve the overall feel of the reel). The German silver looks like it may have some small nicks under the patina, but nothing major. The hard rubber also a coat of gunk on it but once again, you should be able to clean it up nicely. The clicker sounds strong and it is consistent. This reel has a diameter of 2 1/2" and its total width is right around 1 5/16". All-in-all, a nice reel to add to your collection. in the box. All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC pipe.
I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
• International shipping is done through the Global Shipping Program.
