For sale is a
Vintage Pflueger Medalist 1495 Fly Fishing Reel with 2 Spare Spools.
The reel was manufactured in Akron USA and has the Diamolite rectangular line guide, a dial drag and a 2 screw plastic spool latch.
Cosmetically the reel and spools show age and use with some surface wear and loss of finish.
The bottom of the foot has GB6D scratched into it.
Mechanically the reel appears to work well.
The spool has a slight amount of play but spins smoothly and the drag seems to work.
The 2 spare spools are Pflueger Medalist by Shakespeare models which fit the reel well.
All of the spools have backing, line and leader on them but only one is identified as WF-7-S, which is scratched into the back of the spool.
