Vintage RARE Charleen Kinser Gnome “Sweet Cakes” Stuffed Troll Fairy #126 1988
Hand Painted Wings! Beautiful and whimsical doll!
In overall great condition (colors vibrant, no stains/holes/fading, tags attached) but does have
two fabric flaws: Two tears in the apron, and a 2" piece of missing lace. I have taped the back of the apron so that it does not continue to fray, Someone with sewing skills should be able to repair.
Hopefully you can look past these two flaws as this is a really beautifully crafted doll!

Sweet Cakes is a beautifully handcrafted leather gnome by Charleen Kinser and was part of the Forever Toys line. Sweet Cakes is made from pigskin leather with moveable legs and head. Her eyes are smoky blue glass. Sweet Cakes has beautifully, hand painted and screened stuffed wings on her back. She is filled perfectly with the finest polyester stuffing, making her an irresistible, pudgy, winged gnome, sitting 22" tall. She is a companion to gnome Tom Griswold and came with her own story to tell. She is the baker in their mix and is always spreading cheer through her sweet treats. (The buyer of this item will receive a copy of her story with purchase)
Sweet Cakes is perfect for the collector or lover of leather toys. She would also make a great purchase for anyone who appreciates lovable creatures from mythical worlds. She has very little wear outside of the normal aging and has come from a non smoking home.
