    In my 30+ years in stereo photography, this is the first time I have seen this item
    It appears to be a slide bar that allows you to take close-ups in 3D
    You can use a stereo camera or a standard (2D) camera (more logical choice)
    Take the first picture, slide the camera, take the other
    The slide bar is well-constructed, all metal
    See pictures and read the instructions to get an idea on how this was used
    You can use it today even with a digital camera, it is a nice slide bar
    Very rare item, reasonably priced
